Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good announcement that she became pregnant during the filming of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its success.
