Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway productions which include the latest revival of Violet. She also originated parts in Broadway in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of fifteen. Then she appeared in Bunheads and Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster has toured the US and abroad in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" the first solo disc, and the second one, "An evening With Sutton Foster: live at the Caf Carlyle". Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. In addition to being an advisor and professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received this honor by Ball State University. From March to date, her brand new TVLand show "Younger" that was designed by Darren Star is a hit.
