Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker in the United State is an American rapper who is known for his unique musical style. MGK is most well-known for his rapid-fire style of lyricism which gave him his stage name Machine Gun Kelly. He started his rap career in high school and grew a local audience quickly thanks to several mixtapes. The breakthrough was made with the release of his "Stamp of Approval" mixtape that attracted a lot of people's attention. The success of his first mixtape was what gave MGK the motivation to begin into a career in music. He went on to release four mixtapes in a period of time. In 2011, his professional career was on the rise after he signed an arrangement together with Bad Boy and Interscope Records. In the following year the first album of his career Laces Up was released to praise from music critics. Albums like Wild Boy, Invincible and Stereo were popular hits that were released on the US Billboard 200. The album was followed by his second album of studio work, General Admission which was released in October 2015 and debuted at number 4 in the Billboard 200 and number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
